Slumberland Furniture, a beloved household name, has a rich history rooted in family values and a commitment to quality. Since 1967, this family-owned pioneer in the furniture industry has grown to over 120 locations. It all began when Ken Larson opened the first store in Richfield, MN, driven by a passion for improving customers’ lives. From mattresses to a home-furniture empire carrying America’s favorite brands, Slumberland’s growth soared. Embracing a franchise model in 1975, they empowered entrepreneurs to bring exceptional products to more customers.
Today, Slumberland Furniture, under the leadership of Ken’s son Kenny Larson, remains family-owned, committed to providing quality, stylish furniture that’s easy to love, maintain, and afford. Recently, Slumberland had a transformative brand refresh, blending timeless heritage with a fresh, modern approach, reinforcing dedication to customer satisfaction and creating homes that feel truly welcoming.
