Biddy Restaurant Group Opens 1st of 10 Potbelly Units

Biddy Restaurant Group (BRG), led by Dana and Richard Biddy, has opened its first Potbelly Sandwich Shop in Missouri City, Texas, marking the beginning of the group's 10-shop development plan in the Houston area. The new location at 8225 Highway 6 sits within The Shops at Oyster Creek.

"The first holds a special place for us because it's the start of a new era in Houston's love affair with Potbelly. As a milestone moment for BRG and our Missouri City shop team, we are eager to share the Potbelly experience with the neighborhood," Dana Biddy said.

The shop began serving guests on Saturday, Nov. 15, offering the neighborhood Potbelly's toasted sandwiches, new wraps, salads, hand-dipped shakes and freshly baked cookies.

BRG will host a grand opening celebration on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. to noon, starting with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:45 a.m. The first 50 guests in line will receive free Potbelly for a year, and attendees can enjoy merchandise, coupons and menu samples.

"When deciding where to open our first Potbelly shop," Dana Biddy said, "Missouri City was the perfect place because of its strong and close-knit community, well-regarded schools, and thriving business landscape. We are the place where families in the community can come together over a toasty meal."

The Missouri City shop operates daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Guests can order in-store, through Potbelly.com, or via the Potbelly App with delivery available through third-party platforms.
